{"id":1843,"date":"2012-06-29T05:46:02","date_gmt":"2012-06-29T05:46:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cteeducator.wordpress.com\/?p=265"},"modified":"2012-06-29T05:46:02","modified_gmt":"2012-06-29T05:46:02","slug":"iste-day-3-the-end-of-a-great-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mr-statucki.com\/?p=1843","title":{"rendered":"ISTE Day 3 &#8211; The End of a Great Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I know this is a day late, but the travel after the ISTE conference and work today caused the delay.<\/p>\n<p>I only attended two &#8220;formal&#8221; sessions on day three and spent some time watching presentations from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/education.edu.html?showEduReq=no\" target=\"_blank\">Adobe<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/edu\/\" target=\"_blank\">Google<\/a> on the exhibit floor. I also went for a walk to Seaport Village before heading to the airport.<\/p>\n<p>Session 1:\u00a0It&#8217;s All About You: Next Steps for Personalized Learning &#8211; This was not my first choice, but the session held by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bie.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Buck&#8217;s Institute<\/a> was full. This was a very informative session and it was nice to see that our school (and myself) is working towards some of the goals that the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ed.gov\/edblogs\/technology\/\" target=\"_blank\">Department of Education<\/a> is looking towards in personalized learning. I was also able to see what our school needs to work on.<\/p>\n<p>Session 2:\u00a0LOL@ ISTE: Cloud Today and the Potential for Rain &#8211; After attending serious and informative sessions for two days and change, it was nice to attend a very funny session.<\/p>\n<p>This may be the best conference that I have attended as a teacher.
